OUR BIOFARMS

A living learning environment where students explore how food, nature and sustainable systems are connected.

Our Biofarm provides a rich learning environment where students can experience food growing first-hand and take an active role in cultivating healthy fruits, vegetables and herbs.

At the heart of the Biofarm is our seed propagation centre. This small, climate-controlled dome provides a pest-free environment for germinating seeds and nurturing seedlings before they are planted out in our garden beds. Our seeds are organically produced, with vegetable varieties carefully selected to thrive in our local growing conditions.

Surrounding the dome are a series of raised beds and ground-level planting areas where a range of fruits, vegetables and herbs are grown.

A short distance from the outdoor beds is our purpose-built greenhouse, providing further opportunities for growing and practical learning.

Our on-site apiary gives students a window into the world of pollinators, helping them understand the critical role these species play in sustaining life and biodiversity in desert environments.

Near the school entrance are two additional growing domes, providing greenhouse space for a variety of low-growing plants including squashes, aubergines and capsicums.

Enough for all, forever.
