Arbor School Receives Global Recognition for Primary Education

We’re proud to share that we’ve been awarded the 3G Excellence in Primary Education Award 2026 at the Global Good Governance Awards, led by Cambridge IFA.
This prestigious international recognition celebrates organisations demonstrating outstanding commitment to sustainability, innovation and social impact – further strengthening Arbor’s position as a leading primary school in Dubai.
Notably, this is not an award schools apply for or nominate themselves for. Winners are selected by an independent panel of judges, with Arbor recognised following its success at the World’s Best School Prizes for Environmental Action.
A Proud Moment for Our Dubai School Community
At Arbor, the vision of ‘Enough for All, Forever’ underpins every aspect of school life – from curriculum design to daily experiences in the classroom.
As Kathryn Keeshan, Head of Primary, shares:
“This international recognition celebrates organisations that demonstrate outstanding commitment to sustainability, innovation and social impact – and to see Arbor recognised on this global stage is a truly significant achievement.”
She continues:
“At Arbor, our vision of ‘Enough for All, Forever’ sits at the heart of everything we do. This award recognises the way our pupils, staff and wider community bring that vision to life every day – through a curriculum rooted in sustainability, a strong sense of responsibility, and a commitment to making a positive difference in the world.”
Recognising Excellence in Primary Education in Dubai
The 3G Excellence in Primary Education Award recognises schools that:
- Deliver high-quality, forward-thinking education
- Embed sustainability and global responsibility into everyday practice
- Demonstrate innovation and measurable impact
- Build strong, values-driven communities
This aligns closely with our approach as a British primary school in Dubai, where strong academic foundations are combined with a deep commitment to ecoliteracy, wellbeing and real-world learning.
A Collective Achievement
This recognition reflects the strength of the entire Arbor community.
“This achievement belongs to our whole community,” says Kathryn. “To our passionate staff, who go above and beyond every day. To our incredible children, who embody curiosity, compassion and courage. And to our supportive families, who partner with us so meaningfully.”
Looking Ahead
While the school celebrates this milestone, our focus remains firmly on the future.
“While we are delighted to celebrate this moment, we remain as committed as ever to continuing our journey – growing, innovating, and ensuring that every child thrives while contributing to a more sustainable future.”
Global Recognition for a Leading Primary School in Dubai
This award marks another important milestone in our journey, recognising not only academic excellence, but a values-led approach to education that prepares young people to contribute positively to the world around them.
