Parent and Community Engagement
Strong relationships and open communication are an important part of life at Arbor School. We want parents, students, staff and our wider community to feel informed, involved and connected to school life.
Our commitment to sustainability, inclusion and holistic education extends beyond the classroom, with families playing an important role in the Arbor community.
Building strong relationships with parents is central to our approach, and we are proud of the close connections we have with our families. Feedback from our annual parent surveys is consistently positive, with families recognising the value of the community we share at Arbor.
There are many ways for parents and carers to get involved, from formal information sessions and workshops to social events, volunteering and opportunities to learn, share and celebrate together.
Friends of Arbor is our parent group, bringing families together and helping both existing and new families feel connected to life at Arbor and in the UAE.
Run by a dedicated team of parent volunteers, Friends of Arbor organises popular social and cultural events including the annual Ramadan Bazaar and Winter Fayre. The group also sells pre-loved uniforms, arranges coffee mornings for new families and supports a wide range of school celebrations and events throughout the year.
Parents who would like to play an active role in strengthening communication and connections between school and home can volunteer to become Class Champions.
Class Champions help families within each class connect with one another and support class and school celebrations, events, gifts and other activities that enrich the experience for families.

Arbor offers a monthly programme of workshops, information sessions and coffee mornings designed to inform, support and connect our parent community. Sessions cover a broad range of themes, including personal growth and wellbeing, parenting strategies, education and curriculum, topical issues and talks from inspiring speakers.
All parents and carers are welcome to attend. If you have a suggestion for a future topic or would like to run a workshop, we would love to hear from you. Please complete our Parent Workshop Form.
We use a number of digital platforms to help families stay informed and manage different aspects of school life.
Go4Schools
GO4Schools is our main communication and information platform, giving families easy access to key information about their child’s school experience in one convenient place, including timetables, homework, attendance, attainment and more.
Seesaw
Seesaw is used by our Primary School to offer parents a lens into their child’s day-to-day activities.
Zenda
Zenda provides families with a convenient way to manage school-related payments. Parents can use the platform to view and make payments for tuition fees and other school-related services from one place.
